24/08/2022 - The Telegraph Pole - Howth

Started the day off by fishing a local bass mark at low tide around 16:00, I fished there for about 2 hours then jumped in the car and drove to Howth. I got to the telegraph cable just before 19:00, the water was a bit too low still for feathers so I had a few casts with shallow lures then around 20:00 switched to feathers in hopes of some mackerel before the sun went down. A few casts in and I caught a little pollock. Fished away till 9pm and headed off as sun had gone down. I then moved onto a nearby spot recommended to me for bass at high tide but the place was weeded out so I went to another spot, a rocky bouldery place where I caught a bass at the start of the week, fished there until 23:00 before heading home bassless.
