Got out to the mark before first light about an hour before low tide, took a mobile approach and stayed on the move trying to locate the fish, I tried varying retrieval speed and technique but no result this time. Speaking to another angler after my session who was fishing nearby said he had a couple bass so they are there, just need to find them!!
