Portrane Cliffs — 19 January 2021

Last minute session to get out of the house not expecting to catch anything in these conditions but I thought maybe some whiting might be about and if I'm very lucky then maybe codling, I had one rod out with small hooks and small mussel/mackerel baits in close and then a massive squid/mackerel baits on 3/0 pulley pennel lashed as far as I could cast. The smaller baits were coming back looking like something had been nibbling on them but apart from that, no joy this time.
