Dillons Park Dalkey & White Rock Killiney — 23 June 2021

Last time I fished Dillons park was the middle of winter last when I caught some whiting, thought I'd give it a try with some peeler crab today, first cast and I had a dogfish but next cast my 6oz lead just would not hold with the crazy current that runs the Dalkey sound, so I tried feathering for a while maybe throw up some mackerel or pollock but no joy. I moved around the corner to White Rock on Killiney beach and it wasn't long before I had some smooth hounds and a dab, then spent about 3 hours getting bites but no hookups and a few coming off half way in, which were likely dogfish as I caught one on my last cast.
