Shane here reporting Mark's first fish on a lure, we walked out the mouth of an estuary at low tide along the sand bar to lure fish for bass, a few minutes of fishing and I hear Mark shouting "fish on!", brilliant, his first fish and I thought it was going to be a bass but as I got closer he had what looked like a flat fish, and it was, he had foul hooked a chunky flounder and it had given him some fight lol he was chuffed to catch something! Funny thing is its the biggest flounder I've ever seen caught from the shore, nice and chunky so we took it for the table. We fished for a little while after but the light faded and there was no more action so we headed home.
