Thought I'd give the rocks up around Portrane a go over high tide today, fishing a 2 hook flapper on rag tipped with squid in close, and a full squid on a pennel pulley rig at distance. It was fairly quiet for the most part but I did get a rattle on the flapper rod at one point but it didn't hook up, possibly a flounder by the looks of the bite, and after that no more activity, so another blank for the record!
